Jarvis Cocker is working on a follow-up to his solo debut, 2006’s Jarvis. But he isn’t exactly chomping at the bit to get it out there. As he recently told NME, he’s got “vague ideas” about the record, which he’d ideally like to do “before the end of the year.” (Jarvis’ label, Rough Trade, confirms that it will probably be 2009 before we hear a new album from him.)
